Amanda Tacquard is a graduate of Santa Fe High School in Santa Fe, Texas. Tacquard attended Concordia University Texas where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Science. Immediately upon graduation from CTX, Tacquard earned her teaching certification, and began her teaching and coaching career.  In 2017, Tacquard obtained a master’s degree in Education in Sports Administration at Concordia University. She has been teaching for 11 years and coaching for 15 years.

Tacquard has two children, Addison and Kase. Her husband is an engineer and works for Affolter Contracting.  She loves the positive and proud culture and climate of Alvin High School, and loves that it spills into our campus and community.
